Objectifs pédagogiques
montrer la nécessité des études électromagnétiques lors de la conception des dispositifs constituant un système de communication hautes fréquences, obtenir une connaissance solide théorique et acquérir la compétence pratique pour la modélisation électromagnétique d'un système, faire apparaître les aspects de propagation libre et guidée, comprendre le problème de rayonnement et le principe de fonctionnement des antennes.

Contenu : opérateurs vectoriels, équations de Maxwell, ondes planes, ondes évanescentes, polarisation, propagation en milieu hétérogène, approximation des rayons, potentiels retardés, théorème de Green, rayonnement, principes d’équivalence.
